Deputies in Laurel County have arrested Kenneth Maggard in connection with the burglary of five large mailboxes inside of a Pittsburg post office on Feb. 11.

Maggard told investigators that he pried open the mailboxes with a screwdriver. Deputies recovered all items taken in the burglary including health insurance books, a license plate and a Valentine’s gift.
Maggard has been charged with theft of mail matter and was lodged in the Laurel Co. detention center.
