A sports reporter at a Louisville TV station has been charged for leaving the scene of a crash that killed a woman last month. Jeff Woods faces a felony charge of failing to stop and render aid.
Back on January 23rd, police say Woods was driving a WHAS news car when he and a few other drivers ran over Fontaine Jeffery. She was on her way home from the nearby Louisville Marriott Downtown Hotel.

Police say the first driver who hit Jeffery stopped to help and is not being charged.
The reporter could spend five years in prison if convicted.
