Lexington Police are looking for a man in connection to an armed robbery.
Police say Darnell Thomas Jr., along with another man, entered Tobacco Zone on North Broadway around 7 p.m. Friday. Police say one of the men had a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.
During the armed robbery, police say the employee and one of the suspects began struggling over a gun and multiple shots were fired inside the store. Police say it’s possible that one of the suspects was wounded when shots were fired.

The two men were able to leave the store with cash.
Lexington Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Thomas. He is facing a charge of robbery. Anyone with any information on the crime, is asked to call police.
