Danville police are investigating after several restaurants in the same chain were burglarized overnight in a similar manner.
Officers were dispatched to an alarm at the Guadalajara Restaurant on Jane Trail. It was there that they discovered that the window in the front door was broken.
During a normal patrol at 4 a.m., a patrol officer noticed that the glass in the door of the Guadalajara on Ben Ali was broken also. After comparing notes, officers decided to check the third location of Guadalajara. It too had a broken glass door.

A canvas was conducted of all similar businesses in town and no other burglaries were located. All three burglary scenes were processed. The investigation in ongoing. Anyone with questions or tips is asked to call Det. Robert Ladd at 859-238-1224 or 859-238-1220.
