Authorities have dubbed a serial bank robber the “Sock Hat Bandit.”
The robber has hit seven banks in northern Kentucky, and central and southern Ohio, since April. The robber always wears a sock hat to his heists and hands a teller a note demanding cash. Witnesses spotted him leaving in a small maroon four-door car after one robbery.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
