Lincoln County deputies arrested an 18-year-old and three juveniles after finding more than 7 pounds of marijuana in a car early Wednesday morning.
Officials say a deputy on patrol spotted a car that appeared disabled along US-127 near Hustonville. The deputy said when he approached the car, he smelled marijuana. Officials say deputies found 7 to 8 pounds of marijuana, along with other paraphernalia, when they searched the vehicle. Deputies say the occupants of the car claimed they stole the marijuana from a nearby farm.

Deputies arrested Jacob Elmore, 18, of Liberty, and charged him with trafficking marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by unlawful taking – controlled substance and driving without an operator license.
Deputies did not release the name of the three juveniles arrested, but said they were all from Liberty.
