The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the man they say attempted to rob a bank Thursday afternoon.
Officials tell LEX 18 that the man attempted to rob the Fifth Third Bank on Springdale Drive. They say the man handed the teller a note and the fled without getting any money.

The suspect is described as a white male 5’8 to 5’10. He was wearing a hooded shirt with a scarf and sunglasses. He was last seen running west from the bank and jumping into a black sedan with a female driver.
