A man in Laurel County was charged with second series of crimes while he was already behind bars.
Scottie Seeley was first picked up by deputies around 5 o’clock Saturday morning for public intoxication after someone reported him knocking on their door and creating a disturbance.
Then around 10:30 a.m., the same caller called back in saying they’d be burglarized. Deputies say over $600 worth of property had been taken from the residence on John Deere Trail.

Footprints tied Seeley to the burglary, according to investigators.
Seeley was then charged with burglary, criminal trespassing and criminal mischief while already being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
