A domestic situation resulted in the arrest of a man identified as a constable of Rockcastle County.
Frank Maples was arrested and jailed overnight in the Rockcastle County Detention Center. He is facing charges of third degree terroristic threatening.
Maples is identified as the constable of the county’s third district.

According to his arrest citation, deputies were dispatched to his home to a possible domestic dispute before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Maples is accused of telling his wife that if she filed an emergency protective order against him, they’d have to shoot him when they came with papers because he would shoot back.
When deputies made contact with Maple’s wife, she told them he had pulled a gun on her.
According to court documents, Maples then stated, ” (I) ain’t afraid to go, and if i can’t come back home, I will send myself to hell and take you with me.”
Maples is currently in the Rockcastle County Jail. his bond is set at $15,000 with conditions.
