A Jessamine County babysitter accused of hurting a 4-month-old baby is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon.
Erin Thompson is charged with child abuse after allegedly causing severe injury to 4-month-old Kylie Jo. Investigators tell LEX 18 that Thompson was babysitting the infant and several other children on Tuesday when she called 911 for a medical emergency.
She was taken to the hospital and Thompson was subsequently arrested.

Family of the infant say she has a fractured skull, brain damage, broken ribs, broken legs and has had several seizures and a stroke but that she is a fighter and has shown some signs of improvement.
Kylie Jo remains at UK hospital currently. The family is raising money to help with medical expenses.
