Nearly a year after the crime, two Tennessee men have been charged with breaking into a Madison County vet clinic.
Police say Timothy Ross and Jason Leffew broke into the Skipworth Vet Clinic last June and stole more than $23,000 in medications and supplies. The two are said to have made entry by prying open a rear door. Several cables, including the phone line, had been cut inside the business and a pair of wire cutters were recovered.

They say three months later, the pair tried to break in again but were unable to break into the store and hit a Lexington Clinic just hours later. Officers say Ross and Leffew were locked up in Tennessee.
Extradition for the two men is pending at this time. They are facing charges of burglary, attempted burglary, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.
