Private Detective: Man Uses Sock Full of Rocks to Rob Store

Armed with a sock full of rocks, Lexington police say a man almost got away with more than $10,000 in stolen merchandise from Radio Shack.

Just before noon Sunday near the Russell Cave Wal-Mart, police say 31-year-old Sean O’Brien Pittman walked into Radio Shack and threatened the clerk. He got away with at least 25 iPhones, according to investigators.
