A Morehead man was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for recording himself engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor under the age of 12.
A press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office says that Steven Michael Rose, 44, was sentenced on Monday. Upon release from prison, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 15 years.

The press release states that at his guilty plea, Rose admitted that he coerced the minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct with him and that he made a video of this encounter on his cell phone.
