Nicholasville Police have arrested two men in connection to a robbery in which a man was beaten and his car was stolen.
Police were dispatched to Hickory Hill to reports of a man lying in the street.
When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with facial injuries. He told the officers that two men had beaten him and stolen his black Prius. Further investigation revealed the victim had agreed to give two men a ride home from a local bar. When they got to the Hickory Hill area, the two male suspects allegedly attacked the victim and drove away with his car.

Police learned the suspects were possibly headed to Anderson County. Authorities found the Prius in the parking lot of a Taco Bell in Lawrenceburg.
Police arrested Christopher Damrel of Nicholasville and Joseph Penny of Lawrenceburg.
Both men have been charged with robbery.
