Cold Case Man Arrested in Richmond is Suspect in 8 Year Old N.Y. Cold Case

A man arrested on kidnapping charges last week in Madison County could be connected to an 8-year old cold case 500 miles away.

Last week, Kenneth Anderson was arrested at the Days Inn in Richmond. He was accused of kidnapping his wife from New York, holding her against her will and threatening her life if she tried to escape.

The woman told officers that her husband had beaten her and threatened her with a gun. Anderson was arrested and charged with kidnapping, rape and unlawful imprisonment.

New information released Monday by the Huffington Post suggests he could be connected to a different disappearance from many years ago involving another woman he was married to.

The Huffington Post reports that Anderson is also the prime suspect in the disappearance of Corrie Anderson.

According to the paper, Corrie was once married to Kenneth and they had a son together.

At the time of her disappearance in 2008, Corrie had left Kenneth and had filed a protective order against him. Her body has never been found and no one has been charged in the case.
