A death investigation is underway in Bath County after human remains were discovered.
State police say they were found off the Salt Lick exit of I-64 in Bath County just before 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
Police tell LEX 18 that the operator of a bulldozer found a skull and some personal items under a brush pile.
The remains have not been identified. However, investigators have been searching for missing northern Kentucky woman Crystal Warner several times around the area.
The remains will be sent to the KSP Central Laboratory in Frankfort for identification.
The case remains under investigation.
