Private Detective: Arrest Made in Staged Armed Robbery

An arrest has been made in a robbery that happened at the Marathon Service Station on Adams Road south of London.

Deputies say they were told that a lone gunman armed with a pistol robbed a female attendant, locked her in a cooler, and fled the scene on foot November 30.

Deputies say they have determined the reported robbery was in fact a staged robbery allegedly planned by the female attendant and a male accomplice identified as Daniel Cornelius, 19, of Williamsburg.
