The citation says that Tommy Craig told police he had cleaned his gun at his home and walked outside firing the pistol twice into a pile of gravels. A bullet was found in the Monticello Elementary parking lot where a teacher said that the two bullets passed near her head.

Craig willingly turned his gun into police, who say that the bullet found in the parking lot matched with the casing found in the area of where Craig was shooting.

Craig was charged with wanton endangerment 1st degree.
