The man who led authorities on a wild foot chase earlier this year entered a guilty plea in court on Friday.
Timothy Kanatzer, 27, said he’s ready to put this behind him and start over.
Kanatzer says drugs were the reason for his behavior on March 14.
He escaped from custody after being arrested on an outstanding warrant. He busted out a window of a deputy’s vehicle, then ran through an insurance office, went out a window, and finally scaled the wall at Cheapside before being caught.

He took a moment to explain his actions to the court saying he’s ready to move past it and hopes to one day get his job as a truck driver back.
“I was high to be honest,” he said. “I was using at the time. I kinda panicked because they were taking me to jail for failure to appear.”
Kanatzer was sentenced to four years, all to be served at the same time.
The Commonwealth’s Attorney also recommended he pay restitution to the sheriff’s office.
