Pedophile Tracking Rockcastle Man Accused of Sodomizing Two Children

A Rockcastle County man is accused of disturbing crimes involving children.

Geffory Combs was arrested after two small children were interviewed by a social worker.

The children, a 9-year-old female and a 7-year-old female, told police that Combs had exposed himself to them on multiple occasions. According to Combs’ arrest citation, he had asked the children to “kiss” his privates. The eldest child refused, but according to the report, the youngest child was made to perform oral sex on him.

Police say Combs also pleasured himself in front of both girls.

Both children stated that Combs made their brother go upstairs to take a bath when this allegedly occurred.

Combs is charged with both first degree indecent exposure and first degree sodomy.

Private Detective: Police Looking For Local Restaurant Burglar

Police are looking for a man they say has burglarized a popular local restaurant several times.

The first burglary at Nick Ryan’s on Jefferson Street took place in early March, when police say a man broke into one of the restaurant’s large coolers out back.

“This guy comes in and cuts the lock and goes inside and helps himself to a lot of the food products, all worth quite a bit of money,” Detective Mark Thomas with the Lexington Police Department told LEX 18’s Angie Beavin.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

A week later they say the man came back and broke through the lock with bolt cutters, taking New York Strip Steaks and a case of ribs.

A few days after that, the burglar was back and stole half a dozen cases of beer.

After the first few burglaries, restaurant management even put an alarm system on the locks, but that didn’t stop the man from coming back and attempting to take the patio furniture.

Police think he is approaching the back of the restaurant from a nearby alley, Ballard Street. They think a white pickup truck is involved.

“Unfortunately, you know, this is a very upstanding business in our community. These people here work hard,” said Thomas. “And we want to do everything we can to help them stop sustaining these losses.”

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest, just call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 859-253-2020.

Private Detective: Longmeyer Pleads Guilty to Bribery Charge

Tim Longmeyer, a former deputy attorney general and former Secretary of the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet, pleaded guilty to a bribery charge Tuesday.

Longmeyer is accused of abusing his power during his time as the secretary of Kentucky Personnel Cabinet by persuading health insurance companies Anthem and Humana to hire a company for consulting work and in return that company gave cash payments to certain political campaigns.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

On Tuesday, Longmeyer admitted that he solicited and accepted more than $200,000 in kickbacks from a private consulting firm during his time as a state official.

In court, Longmeyer admitted to accepting $212,500, in exchange for assistance in securing contracts for a consultant. Longmeyer received  $197,500 in cash and $6,000 in straw campaign contributions to various political campaigns, for a total of $203,500, over the course of the scheme.

The plea agreement states he agreed to accept $90,000 from the consultant in November 2014 and $100,000 from the consultant in December
2014. The consultant later used the proceeds from contracts with Humana to make a series of payments to Longmeyer in cash and straw contributions.

The plea agreement also states he agreed to accept $22,500 from the consultant and the consultant used the proceeds from a contract with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to make cash payments to Longmeyer.

Before Tuesday’s hearing, Longmeyer voluntarily removed himself from the Bar Association in the Eastern Kentucky District.

He is now out on bond and will be until a sentencing hearing on August 18th.

Longmeyer may face up to ten years in prison.

Private Detective: Paris Police Trying to Identify Huddle House Robber

Paris Police are trying to identify the person responsible for robbing the Huddle House Sunday night.

Three employees were getting ready to close the store just before midnight when the robbery happened.

Julie Hosford, Vice President of Operations says that the back door of the restaurant was unlocked, which is unusual and the door has no handle or knob on the outside, but somehow the thief got in.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

“My thoughts are that it could possibly be somebody who knew what they were doing and what they were coming for,” said Hosford.

Hosford said the employee there did exactly what they’re trained to do, comply and not be a hero.

The worker originally claimed to have been stabbed with a sharp object, but no injuries were found and he is reportedly doing fine.
