Police have issued a missing person alert for 61-year-old Mark Lewis. Lewis was last seen Wednesday according to New Mexico State Police.

Police say Lewis left Mountainair around 4:00 p.m. enroute to UNM Hospital but he never arrived.

He was driving a silver Chevrolet with New Mexico license plates. Lewis is five-foot-nine, weighs 200 pounds and has blue eyes and brown/gray hair. He could be wearing sweat pants and a sweat shirt.

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department needs your help locating Christopher D. Guilbeau (Cates), a white male, 24 years of age. He has been reported missing to the police department. Police arrested a Gulfport man on the charge of credit card fraud after a four-month investigation found more than $7,000 of fraudulent charges.

Willie Ed Smith Jr., 32, was arrested Tuesday when he turned himself in at the Gulfport Police Department.

Sgt. Damon McDaniel said the investigation started Nov. 3 when the victim issued a complaint of unknown charges.

“During the investigation, we learned Smith used the victim’s credit card to make purchases of $7,300 without permission,” McDaniel said.

Smith was taken to the Harrison County jail to be held in lieu of a $25,000 bond set by Judge Brandon Ladner.

The Tallahassee Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a missing teen.

14 Year Old Tyler Beck was last seen around 8:00 p.m on Wednesday night in the 2500 block of Tartary Drive.

Officials say there is a concern for his well-being.

According to Tallahassee police, he may be in the Harwood Drive area in Tallahassee.

Police on Monday charged a Lawrenceville man with nearly 30 sexual offenses, including rape, sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and child pornography involving a girl who was 13 at the time.

According to a criminal complaint, Dustin Moffat, 32, forced the girl to have sex with him in his home on two occasions. Police said they identified the victim through photos obtained from a social networking site.

Police said the victim, who lived near Moffat, reported that the first incident occurred toward the end of 2011 when she was 13, and the second in the first half of 2012 when she was 14. She told police she did not know she was being photographed either time, according to the complaint.

The victim told police that between and after the incidents, Moffat harassed her via phone calls and text messages. After the second incident, Moffat began stalking and physically assaulting the girl, including choking, spitting on and slapping her, according to police.

According to the complaint, the girl’s parents confronted Moffat about his abusive behavior in 2012, but they were not aware of the rape and assault. Court records show April 2012 charges of false reports and corruption of minors against Moffat were dismissed, as well as a May 2012 charge of disorderly conduct.

A February 2009 charge of harassment against Moffat was moved to non-traffic court.

West Chester police are searching for a 15-year-old girl reported missing Friday, according to her father, Rob Buchanan.

Skylar Buchanan wasn’t present when her after-school program at the Lakota East High School’s freshman building let out Friday, her father said, and she hasn’t attended school since.

Friends say they haven’t heard from Skylar since Sunday, Rob Buchanan said. Skylar’s friends had reported communicating with her during the weekend and her whereabouts were never confirmed.

“When she went missing, I hoped for the best thinking she went to a friend’s house,” Rob Buchanan said. “I understand that teenagers go through problems, and I just want her to come home and be safe. We love her.”

Montez Brooks, 15, has been missing since early Sunday morning from his home in Tallassee and his father is desperate to find him.

Brooks’ father, Sedrick Brooks, reported his son was missing to the Tallassee Police Department Monday. It is now days later and Sedrick Brooks came to the Montgomery Advertiser for help.

“The police there don’t seem to be taking it seriously,” Sedrick Brooks said. “But I know the amount of time that he’s been away, it just seems like there is more to this.”

Officials with Tallassee PD confirmed they have a missing persons report for Montez and are working on the case. They received the report on Monday.

Brooks said his son has only left home one other time during the summer and returned the next day. This time it has been too long, he said.

Sedrick Brooks said Montez went for an interview at the McDonald’s in Tallassee and met an older man there. He believes they befriended each other over social media and it is possible his son is with him.

Missing person’s posters are being hung in the areas of Tallassee, Montgomery and Auburn. The father said friends of Montez has received texts from him saying he could be in these areas. However, no one has any personal contact with Montez since he went missing, Sedrick Brooks said.

“Someone could be using his phone to text. Who knows who he met … I hope he’s not dead. I just want to find him. I want him home,” Brooks said.

Montez Brooks attends Reeltown High School in Notasulga, Ala. and is a member of the school’s baseball and football teams. He has a small scar over one eye from a baseball accident, Brooks said.

Statesboro police are looking for a missing person and asking the public for help.

Kandice Nesbitt, 25, was last heard from on Feb. 24, police said.

She is described as approximately 5 feet 3 inches in height.

Authorities say 62-year old Santos Colon left his home on North 28th Street to go to the store around 6pm on Tuesday, but he never returned home.
