Investigators said a blind man was held against his will in Taylor County. However, he turned the tables and now two people are under arrest.
Wallace Faulkner said he may be blind, but when in danger he was quick to see an opportunity to save his life. “Thank you Jesus, it’s a blessing that I can’t see,” said Faulkner.
He said that blessing gave him the strength he needed Tuesday afternoon, when a friend targeted him for money.

“She said you want to go riding? like that, I said yeah,” said Faulkner.
Campbellsville Police said 26-year-old Nikita Looper and a teenage girl picked up Faulkner from his home on Indian Trail. He said after a few minutes they stopped for gas and the two women asked to borrow his phone. Then he said a strange man asked for a ride, got in the car and the group started driving.
Faulkner said the women turned the music up very loud, then the teen began asking him for money. When he refused, Faulkner said the other man asked the women what was going on? That’s when investigators said the teen told the unidentified man the plan. Finally, Faulkner said he asked Looper to explain, but he never expected the answer.
“I’m being robbed. I need to go and get $500 dollars from the ATM machine,” said Faulkner. He said the women threatened to accuse him of rape and the man threatened him too.
“The guy said, why not kill him?” said Faulkner. “I started feeling scared and helpless then, cause I mean what could I do? What could I do? I’m blind.”
Faulkner didn’t know where they were, plus the doors had child locks and he didn’t have his walking stick. Still, he didn’t give up.
“Just don’t panic and try to get away with your life,” said Faulkner. After driving around for at least an hour, Faulkner said he convinced the group to stop at a gas station and go inside to get the money. That’s where he planned to ask for help
“I started praying, I started praying and it seemed like I just stayed calm,” said Faulkner.
They stopped at the Marathon off Broadway in Campbellsville. Once his door was open, Faulkner said Looper walked him to the ATM. That’s where he demanded his phone back and went for help.
“I just turned around and yelled help, help. I have been kidnapped, I just got away help,” said Faulkner.
He said at first the cashier thought he was crazy, and Looper acted like Faulkner was mentally handicapped. Eventually, Faulkner said he was able to call 911 and although the two women ran away, they were arrested.
Investigators said Looper and the teenager are both charged with unlawful imprisonment. Campbellsville Police said they are still trying to identify the man who was also in the car.
