The owner of a Knox County Daycare has entered a plea to amended charges of abuse.
In court Thursday, Tracy Fore, the owner of Sunshine and Lollipops Daycare entered an Alford plea to an amended charge of third-degree criminal abuse.
An Alford plea is not an admission of guilty but an acknowledgement that there is enough evidence to be convicted.She was originally charged with first-degree criminal abuse.

According to State Police, the original accusations involve a two-year-old child at the daycare. She is ordered to have no contact with the victim or any daycare or childcare.
Right now, she will serve no jail time, but if she gets in trouble again within the next 12 months, she could face 180 days in jail.
Fore’s husband William has also been charged with intimidating a witness.
