A notebook was found on the floor of an Estill County High School classroom that said “Hit List,” and contained the names of several students.
Superintendent, Jeff Saylor, said in a press release that it was around 12:15 p.m. when Officer James Gross told the administrative staff about the notebook. Upon an investigation by the school’s principal, the owner of the notebook was located and the release said that the proper procedure was followed in order to keep students safe.
