According to police, Owens kept the body of her boyfriend, Gary Ray Jenks, inside a freezer in the couple’s home on Happy Ridge Road for weeks after his death.
The newspaper reports Owens said she panicked after Jenks suffered a stroke and was embarrassed by her messy house so she ordered a freezer and stored his body there until it was discovered weeks later.
