Wrongful Death Murder Two Brothers Dead in FL Shooting

An argument over food turned fatal Wednesday evening when a 13-year-old boy shot and killed his 6-year-old brother before turning the handgun on himself, according to preliminary information from Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco.

Before killing himself, the 13-year-old also shot and wounded his 16-year-old brother, Nocco said. The 16-year-old called authorities at 6:19 p.m. and was transported from his Hudson home to a hospital with a gunshot wound that is not considered life-threatening.

“This is a horrific scene,” Nocco said. “This is a nightmare when you hear about the ages of these boys, a 6-year-old that was probably playing in his room, an argument over food and he lost his life.”

The mother of the three boys was at work when the shooting occurred. A fourth son, who is 18, was not at the home.

Details were scant Wednesday night as the Sheriff’s Office pieced together the shooting and its aftermath at the Sugar Lane Mobile Home Park on Bachmann Avenue. Nocco did not identify the victims.

Nocco said his deputies are still investigating who owned the gun and whether the Sheriff’s Office had previously responded to the address.

“We’re devastated that this would happen to such young children, and we are prepared to provide whatever services are needed at their schools,” said Linda Cobbe, spokeswoman for the Pasco County School District. “I can’t even imagine.”

She said the district’s crisis team is standing by.

The sound of a gunshot Wednesday evening shocked Josh Hicks, 13, and his family, who live in a home behind the victims’ property.

Hicks said he has shared bus rides to Hudson Middle School with the dead 13-year-old and characterized him as quiet. Hicks said the teenager liked to listen to music and didn’t often play outside with neighborhood children. Though he didn’t know the boy well, he said, “I didn’t think he would ever do something like this.”

Private Detective: Cincinnati Man Sentenced For Sex Trafficking Scheme

Senior U.S. District Judge John G. Heyburn II of the Western District of Kentucky sentenced Cincinnati resident, Christopher Hisle, 45, to serve 180 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release, the Justice Department announced today. Restitution will be determined at a future date. Hisle pleaded guilty on Nov. 14, 2014, to sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, and to enticing individuals to travel in interstate commerce for prostitution and transporting individuals in interstate commerce for prostitution.

Police arrested Hisle on April 8, 2014, in Louisville, Kentucky, after he drove a young woman from Cincinnati to Louisville to engage in prostitution at a Louisville motel. Subsequent investigation linked Hisle to the prostitution of multiple additional women in Ohio, Kentucky and elsewhere.

http://liarcatchers.com/contact.php

According to the evidence presented in court proceedings and documents filed in the case, Hisle physically assaulted several of the young women he exploited for prostitution, including striking one of the victims in the face when she threatened to run away. In furtherance of his sex trafficking scheme, Hisle controlled the women he prostituted by various means, including boards and locks which restricted the women’s ability to exit the dwelling where Hisle housed them when he was not transporting them for prostitution.

“This defendant preyed on vulnerable young victims and cruelly exploited them for his profit,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Vanita Gupta of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “This sentence sends a clear message that the United States will not tolerate modern-day slavery and will work tirelessly to restore the rights and dignity of the victims of this crime.”

“The horrors of human trafficking cause unimaginable pain, desperation and despair,” said Acting U.S. Attorney John E. Kuhn Jr. of the Western District of Kentucky. “And the fear of violence and other reprisals all too often keep victims from reporting this heinous crime. My office is working hard to train our law enforcement partners so that we can recognize this tragic situation and then bring justice with a solid sentence for the defendants and an order of restitution for victims.”

“Protecting the civil rights of every individual in our community is one the FBI’s top criminal priorities,” said Special Agent in Charge Howard S. Marshall of the FBI’s Louisville Office. “We work closely with community leaders and our law enforcement partners to proactively target predators involved in human trafficking. These women were exploited as a reusable commodity by men that forced them to participate in the sex trafficking industry. Our agents and task force officers work tirelessly to address every civil rights allegation we receive; I am proud of the hard work they do to protect and rescue the victims that are unable to defend themselves.”

This case was investigated by the FBI and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda E. Gregory of the Western District of Kentucky and Trial Attorney William Nolan of the Civil Rights Division’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit.

Wrongful Death Drowning Death of Twins Ruled Homicide

Harris County medical examiners have ruled the drowning deaths of twin toddlers at their Pearland home last month were homicides.

Savannah Russo and her sister Sabrina, both 15 months, were found unresponsive Feb. 17 in a bathtub in the family’s home in the 1400 block of Crystal Lake Circle East.

The children were flown by Life Flight helicopter to the Texas Medical Center.

Savannah died that day at the hospital.

Her sister was pronounced dead on Feb. 22 after she was taken off life-support.

The father of the twins was not at the house at the time the children were discovered, authorities said. But the mother was apparently home.

Accident Reconstruction: Family Looking For Answer After Madison County Mom Killed in Crash

Less than a week ago, Amber Dawn Webb, a  Madison County mother was killed in a car crash on I-75 and her family still has a lot of questions. They don’t know how the wreck happened or why she was on the interstate in the first place.

“We just can’t understand why she was on I-75,” Timmy Webb said. “Because she hated the highway.”

Amber Dawn was on her way to get her 11 year old son’s hearing aid repaired in Richmond when somehow, she ended up Southbound on I-75.

http://liarcatchers.com/accident_reconstruction.html

Police say that the mother of two lost control of her car and it wound up on it’s side. That’s when a jeep, pulling a trailer, slammed into her car.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her family said that she typically avoided I-75 out of fear and guess that she was in the wrong lane and was forced to merge onto the interstate. They are hoping that anyone who saw the crash will contact them.

“If anybody knows anything I wish they would call us,” Mr. Webb pleaded “It would mean so much. It really would.”

He explained that there was confusion from the start.  He wasn’t aware that she’d even been in a wreck.  He said that her wallet was misplaced by emergency crews in all the confusion.

As they deal with the grief, they are comforted by her faith.

“That’s the only peace we find in this knowing where she’s at now,” her sister said. “She gave her life to the Lord January 30th.”

If anyone saw anything and has information, call the station 859-381-1801 and we will make sure the family gets the information.

Pedophile Tracking Houston Man Gets 25 Years

A Houston man received a 25-year prison term after pleading guilty to indecency with a child by sexual contact in Gregg County, Assistant District Attorney Madison Hood said Tuesday.

Andrew Moses Valero, 44, pleaded guilty to the second-degree felony Monday in District Judge David Brabham’s courtroom while jurors were being selected for his trial.

Hood said Valero has two other charges against him that involve the same child, a 15-year-old girl, who is not related to him.

http://liarcatchers.com/pedophile_tracking.html

Valero’s sentence begins immediately. However, he also faces two pending felony assault charges in Harris County, Hood said.

“They are not sexual (charges),” she added.

Valero will be transferred to Houston to face those charges, Hood said.

He must serve at least half of his 25-year sentence for the Gregg County crime before becoming eligible for parole. Valero also will be required to register as a sexual offender for life after he fulfills his prison term.

Valero was arrested in December 2013.
