St. Charles police are looking for a man with schizophrenia who walked away from his home Friday afternoon.

Edward J. Sheble, 34, lives in the first block of Oxford Place and walked away at about 1 p.m. St. Charles police issued an endangered person advisory for him Friday night. They said he has a history of schizophrenia and does not have his medication, and that he may run away if approached by strangers.

Sheble is white, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 200 pounds, and has born hair, hazel eyes, and a fair complexion. He has a full beard and mustache with tattoos on his left forearm and upper right arm. He was wearing a dark t-shirt and light shorts.

The Brookville Police Department is looking for a missing person.

45-year-old Kenneth Cartwright was last seen Thursday at 5 p.m. in Brookville.

Police say they don’t have much information but are concerned the Cartwright may need medical attention.

Colorado Springs police are seeking other potential victims of a 68-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a child he met through his wife’s unlicensed child care business.

Investigator say they began looking into John “Jake” Frey on Feb. 22 after a complaint was made against him.

He was arrested two days later when police say they identified one of his child victims and uncovered evidence that he had “initiated sexual contact with several other juveniles” through his wife’s business.

“To date, detectives have contacted and interviewed a number of witnesses and potential victims but are still interested in speaking with others who may have been cared for at the Freys’ residence,” police said in a Thursday news release.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man Thursday for child rape, more than a year after receiving a concerning report from Davidson Count Child Protective Services.

The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said 62-year-old Marvin Lee Tysinger has been charged with one count of first-degree rape of a child less than 13, one count of first-degree sex offense of a child less than 13, two counts of indecent liberties with a child, one count of statutory rape of a 13-year-old and one count of statutory sex offense with a 13-year-old.

Tysinger is in jail under a $1,000,000 secure bond, and his court appearance is Monday, March 28.

The sheriff’s office also arrested and charged the child’s mother for one count of felony child abuse of allowing a sex act. WFMY News 2 will not release the name of the mother, as it could inherently identify the child.

The mother is in jail under a $25,000 secure bond and also has a court date on Monday, March 28.

The sheriff’s office said it received a report from Davidson County Child Protective Services on January 16, 2015. That report was concerning a sex offense committed against a child when she was 10 years old.

The sheriff’s office has not said why the investigation took more than a year before an arrest.

Pikeville City Police and the Pike County Coroner are investigating a murder-suicide in which two men were found dead inside an apartment building in downtown Pikeville early Friday morning.

According to East Kentucky Broadcasting, both agencies were called to the scene on Main Street after two people were found deceased. The Pike County Coroner says that one of the deceased is a student at the University of Pikeville. The other is not.

The two both died from gunshot wounds. The names are being withheld pending family notification.

The apartments are used to house students at the University of Pikeville’s School of Osteopathic Medicine.

The two men have been identified as Nicholas Hopkins, 36, of Florence and Travis Thompson, 22, of Independence.

An Ohio doctor has been convicted by a federal jury of traveling to Morehead, Ky., to engage in sex with a minor.

On Wednesday, the jury convicted 28 year-old Albert Trinh of traveling across state lines, with the intent to engage in sex with a minor.

Testimony at trial established that, in September 2015, Trinh had online communications with an undercover Kentucky State Police detective that he thought was a 14 year-old girl. When Trinh arrived at the agreed-upon meeting location, in Morehead, he was arrested.

Kerry B. Harvey, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky; Howard Marshall, Special Agent in Charge, FBI; and John Tilley, Acting Commissioner, Kentucky State Police, jointly announced the conviction.

The investigation was conducted by FBI and the Kentucky State Police. Trinh is scheduled to be sentenced on June 30, 2016. He faces a maximum of 30 years in prison. Under federal law, Trinh will have to serve at least 85 percent of his prison sentence.

A 33-year-old ex-Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida business analyst was arrested after hundreds of medical service claims were submitted for services that never occurred, according to the state Department of Financial Services’ Division of Insurance Fraud.

Frank John Leli of Atlanta was booked March 9 on charges of insurance fraud, grand theft and organized scheme to defraud. His bail was set at $150,000, and he bonded out later that day, according to jail records.

State officials said Blue Cross began investigating Leli in August 2014 when the company noticed 27 medical claims filed on his behalf over a short period of time, all related to treatments by a Jacksonville-based marriage and family therapist. Blue Cross contacted the therapist, who verified only 12 of the 27, according to state insurance fraud officials.

The company completed its internal investigation in November and notified state insurance officials of the results. The state continued to look into Leli and uncovered more claims he filed on other treatments by two Georgia-based chiropractors. Both chiropractors told investigators that he was neither a current or past patient, according to state officials.

The investigation concluded that Leli submitted almost 350 claims, with only 12 found to be legitimate and almost $40,000 in insurance benefits collected, state officials said.
