Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate a woman who went missing after leaving a Port Jefferson drug rehabilitation program.

Amber Cahill was reported missing today after she was last seen leaving St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson on foot on February 25 at approximately 9 a.m. Cahill, 28, of  Satinwood St., Central Islip, is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall with blue eyes and blond hair.

She was wearing a black sweater with leather patches, blue and red plaid pajama pants and black knee high boots.

Anyone with information on Cahill’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.

A 4-year-old girl who disappeared in Montana was found alive on Sunday, a spokesman with the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office said.

Maci Lilley was abducted Friday night from a housing complex in Wolf Point.

“She was found alive and well,” said Lee Allmer, the spokesman. “At the moment, we cannot divulge the location (where she was found) as the investigation is ongoing.”

Allmer said the girl was undergoing a medical evaluation “as a precautionary measure.”

A suspect is in custody.

Authorities say people saw John “Billy” Lieba, 20, take the girl against her will. Both are Native Americans.

The FBI has taken control of the investigation, and several local and federal agencies participated in the search effort.

Detectives have classified Sunday night’s suspicious death in the Lents neighborhood as a homicide.

Police identified Gary Jay Baechler, 48, as the victim officers found just after 5 p.m. at the 6900 block of Southeast 110th Avenue. He died of multiple gunshot wounds, police said through a press release.

Detectives hope to generate tips from the public by releasing Baechler’s 2014 Oregon driver’s license photo. No other information was released.

An investigation is underway after a body was found in Bracken County, according to KSP.

Kentucky State Police are focusing their investigation near a boat dock off Snag Creek Road near Kentucky State Route 8. The body was located by individuals fishing near the Snag Creek bridge. The body has been recovered and has been taken to the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office.

A family member confirmed to Cincinnati station WXIX that the body found in Bracken County Sunday night is Tara Turner, the mother of three who has been missing for nearly a month.

The Bracken County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation around 6 p.m. Sunday, officials said. Kentucky State Police were later called to assist.

Turner has not been heard from since her boyfriend dropped her off at the California Market on the AA Highway last month.

The coroner is performing an autopsy Monday.

It happened at the Double Quick near US 27 and Catnip Hill Road. Police say three suspects came into the gas station, robbing the store at gunpoint. Police also say the men robbed a customer as well.

All three suspects got away from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. They drove away in two vehicles that were parked in a car dealership across the street. Those cars are described as a white SUV and another dark colored car.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the robbery but police are now searching for the three suspects.

Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn confirms that a man who was critically injured in a shooting this weekend died Monday morning. The deaths are now being investigated as a murder-suicide.

A homicide investigation started after a woman was found dead in a home on Pittman Court just off Richmond road. The coroner says someone came to the house and found the man and woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The man is being identified as Antonio Brooks, 37.  The female victim has been identified as Sukenia Rice, 36.

Brooks, according to court records, has a pretty extensive criminal history dating back to 1997. One of the charges included violating a protective order. Sunday, Lexington Police say he shot a woman inside a Pittman Creek home before turning the gun on himself. The woman was dead when a relative found the crime scene around 11 Sunday morning but Brooks was rushed to UK.

Both died from gunshot wounds according to the coroner.

“Not sure what provoked this to happen, but obviously it’s a violent act that’s happened in this community,” said Ginn.

Neighbor John Barboza says he was at home when police and first responders rushed to his neighbor’s house around 11 a.m. He was shocked by the news.

“The family that lives there, the grandparents, they seem to be a very loving family, kind of kept to themselves,” said neighbor John Barboza.

A “massive” search was underway early Sunday for a 4-year-old girl who was reportedly kidnapped from a reservation in northeast Montana, NBC News reported.

Maci Lilley was reported missing Friday in Wolf Point on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation. Witnesses told authorities a man took Maci against her will from a park where she had been playing, according to NBC Montana.

The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office said a suspect, 20-year-old John Lieba, has been taken into custody but Maci was still missing.

“Law enforcement is doing everything in their power to find Maci and bring her home,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement early Sunday. “She is our number one priority and no effort is being spared.”

The FBI has assumed control of the investigation and a number of agencies from Border Patrol to Tribal Police were assisting in the search, the sheriff’s office added in an earlier statement.
