On Sunday morning, the family of a missing San Jose woman, who police say was murdered, will be searching for her in Hayward. Stacey Aguilar was last seen alive at a party Saturday night at a home near Jackson Street and Silva Avenue. So far, Hayward Police are calling it a homicide. Her body has not been found.

Aguilar’s family said they have not lost hope. They are asking the public to help them search for the 22-year-old who has two young children.

“It’s painful to see something like that,” said Luisa Aguilar who is Stacey Aguilar’s sister.

Aguilar lives in San Jose and has family in Mexico. Her mother and younger sister Luisa live in Mexico and called KTVU to share their heartache. Around 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aguilar was last seen leaving a house party with her boyfriend.

When she didn’t come home, on Monday her family reported her missing to San Jose Polilce who at first classified it as a missing person’s case. Late Friday, Hayward Police announced the agency was taking over the investigation as a homicide.

“All I can tell you is that we’ve developed some information and evidence that leads us to think she’s the victim of a homicide and I can’t tell you details of what the evidence is or what the information is at this point,” said Sgt. Ryan Cantrell of Hayward Police.

Aguilar’s family believes otherwise.

“They are saying that but we have faith she’s alive and she’s somewhere right there,” said Luisa Aguilar.

Police haven’t located Aguilar’s body and no arrests have been made. Her family said Aguilar is a server and divorced mother of two with a 7-year-old son and five-year-old daughter. They believe she’s alive, calling her a fighter.

“She’s a strong woman,” said Luisa Aguilar. “She’s a woman that will fight for her life. We have faith she’s alive.”

Family and friends will be meeting at a shopping center off Amador and Jackson near the 24 Hour Fitness in Hayward at 10 a.m. Sunday. They say they plan to search the area and nearby woods for any sign of Aguilar.

A man has been arrested following a standoff and investigation in Mercer County.

According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, deputies went to Miller Dean Road for a meth investigation. When they arrived, they confronted a man who showed a gun.

After a short standoff, deputies were able to get William Cox to surrender.

Deputies investigated the home and found drugs, firearms, syringes, meth related paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.

Cox now faces several charges.

A Danville woman has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, after police say that she left her granddaughter outside on the porch during a rainstorm.

Officers were dispatched to the home of Lisa Baugh where they discovered her granddaughter outside sitting on the concrete porch wearing only shorts and a t-shirt in the rain.The girl told police she had been sitting outside for about 20 minutes. She stated that her grandmother had started drinking and had gotten angry with her.

According to a citation, when officers made contact with Baugh, her eyes were glassy and she smelled strongly of alcohol.

Baugh told police that she couldn’t watch the girl, “because she can’t take it anymore.”

After Baugh was taken into custody, the officers took the the young girl to McDonald’s for dinner. According to a post on their Facebook page, “When attempting to purchase breakfast for the juvenile, an unidentified female employee, respectfully refused the officers’ payment. This employee took it upon herself to purchase the well needed meal and even offered the juvenile an extra portion of milk.”

Before the officer and juvenile left the restaurant, this same employee approached the juvenile and offered her a toy, which was gladly accepted Danville Police have publicly thanked the woman at the restaurant for her kindness.

Law enforcement called it their “worst nightmare”.

Six people were killed in a shooting spree in Kalamazoo County, MI last night.

There was a massive manhunt in response to the shootings and police are now identifying the suspect.

Jason Dalton, 45, was arrested and taken into custody without a struggle.  Police say they found weapons in his car.

Police say six people were killed and two others were injured when Dalton randomly opened fire as he drove around the city and its suburbs last night.

Authorities previously reported that seven people had been killed in the shooting incidents, but officials say a 14-year-old girl shot at a Cracker Barrel restaurant did not die.

The shootings started at around 6 o’clock last night, and happened at three different locations.

Shootings were reported at a Cracker Barrel restaurant outside of Kalamazoo, where four people were killed as they sat in their cars in the parking lot.

A short time later, more shootings were reported at a Ford dealership, where a father and his son were killed.

Two more shootings happened at an intersection near the restaurant, and also at a home in Richland Township, where a woman was shot multiple times.

There were no fatalities reported in either of those locations.

The gunman had been driving around Kalamazoo County in a dark blue Chevrolet.

Authorities say they are still interviewing the suspect to figure out what, if any, motive there was for the shooting spree.  They expect Dalton will be charged tomorrow.

“My mom if you’re still out there, please give me a call or call somebody to let them know you’re alright or we can come and get you,” said Aaron Jones, the son of missing woman Kerry Jones.

A desperate plea by the Jones after his mother recently moved to Florida with her boyfriend and has been missing for two weeks.

46-year-old Kerry Jones was last seen at her home in Jacksonville, Florida. There’s been no trace of her ever since.

“I just want answers to what happened, where she’s at, I just want relief because it’s been very hard on my family, and she’s got three grand-kids,” said Jones.

Friday, February 5th was the last time Aaron Jones heard from his mother Kerry.

“Monday, I tried to call again and later on that night, her boyfriend called me and told me my mom’s been missing since Sunday,” he said.

Something didn’t add up, so Aaron called his mother’s employer at Bealls Department Store in Jacksonville.

“They told me that she hasn’t been here, she was supposed to come in Friday and never did and her car’s been in the parking lot since Friday,” Jones explained.

That’s when a missing person report was filed on Tuesday, February 9th. According to the Jacksonville CBS affiliate, police reports show there was a fight between Kerry Jones and her boyfriend, Nick Kelly, the day she disappeared.

Aaron told CBS 42 he has since visited the house where his mother lived and it gave him an eerie feeling.

“I believe what gave me the bad feeling was walking in there knowing that was the last place that my mom was seen or where she was at,” Jones said.

As of right now, Nick Kelly has not been charged with any crime. However, police have seized his vehicle and are investigating blood found inside the couple’s home after a reported fight between the two.
